🧠 TEMPERAMENT & TRAINING
Poodles are intelligent dogs that benefit from both companionship and opportunities to learn. For Baxter, the first weeks at home are a chance to establish simple routines and build trust with his family.
At his age, training should focus on small, achievable steps:
🐾 Learning where and when to go potty
🐾 Becoming comfortable in a crate or resting area
🐾 Responding to his name and basic cues
🐾 Practicing gentle handling and grooming
🐾 Exploring appropriate new experiences at a comfortable pace
Rewarding the behaviors you want to see and keeping expectations consistent can help him make steady progress.
His full coat is also an important part of his care. Regular brushing and positive grooming experiences will help his family maintain those curls as he grows.
✨ WHY BAXTER STANDS OUT
Baxter’s appeal comes from his rich coat, rounded face, and subtle lighter markings. His white accents are smaller than Brian’s, while his caramel shading gives him a warm, teddy-bear look.
With an estimated adult weight of 11–13 lbs, he is expected to remain a small companion while growing a little larger than the two smallest puppies in this group.
He is a lovely option for someone who prefers a male Poodle with dense curls and understated markings.
